The Logistics of Humanitarian Aid

Together, the Georgia Tech Business Network and the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) at Georgia Tech welcome a panel of experts to enlighten and educate the Georgia Tech and Atlanta business communities about the intricate logistics networks behind humanitarian aid and relief efforts. The discussion will feature perspectives from a corporation, a non-governmental organization, a research institute, and a government agency on the history, challenges, and technologies required of relief efforts. Prior to and following the event, attendees will have a chance to network with professionals in the field, and with current Georgia Tech ISyE students whose coursework is directly relevant to Humanitarian Logistics.
