Join the Design and Technology for Healthy Aging Initiative (DATHA) at its first Innovation Meeting on January 26. The purpose of these monthly meetings are to:

- Identify and explore older adult needs that require
interdisciplinary responses and

- Evaluate new designs and technologies for their utility
in responding to older adult needs.

On January 26 from 9-10:30 a.m., Ted Johnson, MD from the Center for Health and Aging at Emory University will present issues surrounding telecommunication technologies to support healthy aging.

The Design and Technology for Healthy Aging Initiative is a multidisciplinary effort that aims to bring together researchers, practitioners and service providers from Georgia Tech and the Atlanta area to identify, develop and implement new design and technologies for healthy aging that respond to the real everyday needs of older adults living in a range of community housing options.

Exit at 10th Street/Georgia Tech
Turn right on 10th Street
Turn right on Spring Street NW
Heading south on Spring Street, stay in the far right lane
Turn right on Abercombie St. (just past the second light)
Turn right into parking deck
Take elevator to 5th floor of the parking deck, cross bridge to
Centergy building entrance.

From North of Atlanta:
South on I-75 or on I-85 toward Atlanta
Exit at 17th
Turn left on 17th Street
Turn right on Spring Street NW
Heading south on Spring Street, stay in the far right lane.
Turn right on Abercombie St. (just past the second light).
Turn right into parking deck
Take elevator to 5th floor of the parking deck, cross bridge
