Mr. Xiaofeng  Meng is nearing completion  of his doctoral dissertation  entitled,
"Systematic  study of earthquake  triggering  using microearthquakes   detected  by the matched 
filter technique".  I have scheduled  a period beginning  at 9:00 AM on May  11,  2015 in ES&T
Building in room L 1114 for his doctoral examination.   The following  persons  have agreed to
