Evaluating the design, implementation, and impact of bundled payments in a public health setting

 

 

Abstract: This research will evaluate the design, implementation, and impact of Colorado’s bundled payment system in reimbursing for services of the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program. Using a comparative case study with a quantitative component, this research will examine the quality and cost of breast and cervical cancer screening services of three different provider payment models: bundled payment, capitation, and fee-for-service.
