The Energy Expo is a conference and showcase about the changing energy landscape in the Southeast.  It is hosted by the Energy Club at Georgia Tech in partnership with the American Energy Society and it is open to the public. A feature length documentary about the political struggle surrounding the future of wind power. Cape Spin is "a gripping and entertaining study of eco-capitalism and grassroots democracy."

6 pm Panel: The Debate for Wind Power

Experts will provide insight to the current situation of offshore wind power in the United States, and specifically the East Coast. What is the current status of offshore wind? What is its impact on the future Southeast energy portfolio? What political struggles must first be overcome to tap into this vast resource? These questions and more will be address during this panel.
