The Award-winning Georgia Tech Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Assistant Professor Chip Crotts, presents its first Spring Concert on February 24 at 7:30 in the Ferst Center. "Salute to the Big Bands" will feature legendary music from one of America's greatest generations, the 1940's and the Swing Era. This concert will feature music from Glenn Miller, Les Brown, Benny Goodman, Sammy Nestico, Count Basie and many more. The audience will also be treated to an appearance by guest vocalist, Taryn Newborn, as well as the GTDA Swing Dancers!
