Educator Workshop - Bringing Nanotechnology to the Classroom: Lessons for Post-Secondary and Grades 6-12

Learn how to include nanotechnology in your current teaching. The workshop will have parallel sessions for post-secondary and secondary educators as well as time for networking and learning about resources.

Nancy Healy, NNIN Education and Outreach Coordinator - Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge Network (NACK)- A national resource for  integrating nanotechnology into post-secondary curriculum.

Joyce Allen, NNIN -  Resources for K-12 Teachers to Include Nanotechnology into Standards Based Curriculum.

Who Should Attend: Grades 6-12 science teachers and Post-secondary science and engineering faculty

Registration fee $15.00 (covers lunch/parking)  Limited to 100

Participants will receive a CD containing all presented lesson plans and a resource guide.
All registered participants will be sent parking instructions the week before the workshop.
