Primary tabs

Housing — or the lack of it — can affect individual and public health in a number of ways, from expanding or limiting access to jobs to influencing family and social cohesion. Each year APA's professional institute, the American Institute of Certified Planners, hosts a fall symposium on relevant planning issues. This year's AICP Symposium will explore emerging policy, planning, and funding strategies that promote equitable housing options in urban neighborhoods. Case studies will highlight innovative approaches at the local, regional, and national levels.
