Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Issues Advice for Universities about Ebola

Primary tabs

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently issued advice to colleges, universities and students about Ebola in West Africa. This advice recommends avoiding non-essential travel, including education-related travel, to Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. The CDC is also recommending enhanced precautions for all travelers to Nigeria.

Due to the rapidly changing nature of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, these advisories are subject to change. Travelers are encouraged to review the CDC Travel Health Notices for up to date information specific to each country.

Information pertaining to Ebola including what to do if you have recently traveled to these countries of concern is posted on the Stamps Health Services website.
