Deadline to Apply for Graduate SGA Elections

The Fall 2014 elections are for the legislative branch of the Graduate Student Government.  This branch is comprised of Senators representing all academic departments. Meetings are usually held every Tuesday and generally last an hour to an hour and a half. These meetings are the minimal commitment, but there are many opportunities to get more involved!.

To be considered as a candidate for Senator, you must complete page 3 of the Graduate Elections packet or use the online application--in addition to pages 4-6 of the Graduate Elections packet (if applicable)--and submit these by Friday, August 29th at 4pm in the SGA Office. To be clear, using a printed packed is optional (in lieu of just the online application) unless your campaign includes any of the following:

  • An official organization sponsorship
  • A speaking engagement
  • Campaign workers
