Through interactions with the West End businesses, citizens, developers, the housing authority, the Atlanta University Center, GDOT and their consultants, MARTA, and the City, the West End studio students have crafted a framework plan aimed at meeting the needs of stakeholders.
The improving investment climate in the region positions West End to take advantage of great opportunities to capitalize on its strategic location, access infrastructure, historic character, and thriving businesses to shape coming growth and redevelopment in a way that responds to its citizens’ and businesses’ aspirations for making it a better place.
