COLLABORATE 2014

Primary tabs

You are invited to COLLABORATE 2014! This year the event will focus on opportunities between the CDC and Georgia Tech. To officially kick-off the newly established CDC/GT scientific collaboration, please make plans to attend the CDC/GT COLLABORATE symposium.

CDC/GT Collaborate is an important opportunity to learn from and network with leaders in public health, bioengineering, bioinformatics and architecture. CDC scientists and GT faculty will share information about best practices based on ongoing efforts and will discuss emerging challenges and opportunities for future collaborations. Senior leadership from CDC and GT will start the meeting by sharing their insights and expectations about the newly established CDC/GT collaboration and discussing opportunities that can result from joint activities between the two institutions. CDC presentations will focus on grand challenges the CDC faces in bioinformatics, public health surveillance, and biosecurity. GT faculty will offer insights into the tools and technologies to effectively use big data to address the CDC efforts in protecting the health and safety of the public, both domestically and globally. In addition, GT faculty will share examples of previous collaborative projects. Please come and learn how you can get involved!!

Seating is limited, so please register.

Sponsored by GTRI, the CDC, IPaT, and the Petit Institute.
