TI:GER Info Session for PhD, MBA, Law Students

Primary tabs

Interested in technology commercialization or entrepreneurship? Want to learn how to take your research/project to market? If you are a science or engineering PhD in your 2nd or 3rd year, you are encouraged to attend the TI:GER Information Session. The TI:GER program brings together PhD, MBA, and law students in the classroom and research lab to advance early-stage research into real business opportunities.

A collaboration between Georgia Tech and Emory Law School, TI:GER plans to admit from five to eight PhD students to enter the two-year program starting in fall 2014. PhD students from all of the science and engineering disciplines at Georgia Tech are eligible to apply for TI:GER.

PhD applicants should have completed qualifying exams and identified or begun research in a primary field of interest. They should be in their second or third year of their PhD program and have an interest in technology commercialization and entrepreneurship.

This information session will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in Room 316 of the Scheller College of Business in Tech Square (lunch included). To attend, RSVP to Jennifer Jacobs by Feb. 18.
