About the Global Social Venture Competition:

Founded in 1999 by students at U.C. Since its inception, the competition has grown to become a truly global endeavor: premier business schools in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa all participate and in 2013, GSVC received 650 entries from nearly 40 countries.
