Coca-Cola Seeking GT Students for Internship Opportunity

The Coca-Cola Company, Policy & Standards Department is looking for qualified candidates to participate in a special project to implement automated translation software to publish documents in our quality management library. We are looking for five (5) individuals who can meet the following requirements:

  • Must  be  a currently  enrolled  student  majoring in Chemistry, Microbiology, Material Science or related fields of Engineering (chemical, biomedical, environmental, etc.).
  •   Must have completed the freshman year and at least two semesters of chemistry with one semester of labs.
  •  Strong  written,  verbal,  analytical,  and  interpersonal skills required.  Must display maturity  and  a  high  level  of  professionalism.
  • Must be highly proficient in one of the required foreign languages, including scientific terminology:

Portuguese, French, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic

  •  Knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus. Preference will be given to students that can master two of the languages in the list.
  •  Strong computer skills and proficiency with Windows and MS Office required.
  • Must be organized and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

 The ideal candidates will have the opportunity to work at the Atlanta offices of The Coca-Cola Company in a professional environment, receive a very competitive salary and learn about the processes used to protect the quality and reputation of the most recognized brand in the world. He/she will also be exposed to different functions and aspects of our supply chain, including local manufacturing and warehousing facilities. We would prefer to start the week of January 6 and the internship will last about 15-16 weeks (until late April).
