The TAG Smart Energy Society (SES) is set to deliver new insights and applied experience in energy management and sustainability with its upcoming October event. We’ll feature the work of Cox Enterprises and Urjanet, who have partnered to use Urjanet’s software tools in pursuit of efficiencies in energy consumption that save money and help Cox achieve its goal of reducing the company’s carbon footprint.

You’ll hear Robert Fairey, director of energy procurement at Cox, share his experience of framing the project, setting objectives, evaluating systems and suppliers, and then implementing the Urjanet solution to achieve a customized energy management data feed for the company. Now he’s able to collect, reconcile, analyze and report on energy consumption and price, all of which have helped drive cost reduction and advancement of the company’s sustainability success.
