LMC C0-Sponsors Series of Events with Donald Norman

Author of this year's First-Year Reading, Living with Complexity, Norman is one of the most important thinkers on design.
The visit is co-sponsored by LMC. A plenary lecture and reception will be held on October 3, and a panel discussion on contemporary design challenges, "Design Now," will take place in the College of Architecture on October 4.
On Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm in CULC 144 is Norman's Plenary lecture (5:00-6:15) with 15 minutes Q&A followed by a reception and book signing from 6:30-7:00. The lecture, which is aimed at First-Years, is open to campus community, aimed at First-Years. Please RSVP at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/norman-plenary
On Friday, October 4, 2013 from 2:00-3:00: Panel discussion at the College of Architecture Reinsch-Pierce Family auditoriumon technology, evidence-based design, assistive technology, human-centered design. The primary audience will include industrial Design, Architecture, Human Computer Interaction and Computer Science, the local ID/HCI community.
