Feminists take action in many different ways. Jacqueline Royster, Dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, and Bettina Love pitch their preferred method: words. Love explores how young women navigate the space of Hip Hop music and culture to form ideas concerning race, body, class, inequality and privilege. Royster reviews major developments in feminist rhetorical studies in recent decades and explores the theoretical, methodological, and ethical impact of this work on rhetoric, composition, and literacy studies.
