Teaching Kickoff: From Tyranny to Transparency — The Thoughtful Syllabus

As part of the Fall Teaching Kickoff, Esther Jordan of  the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning will guide faculty toward the creation of a syllabus that better communicates intentions for the course and begins a norming process for student expectations and behavior from the start. Participants are encouraged to bring a sample syllabus to the session.
