Amanda Powell and Renee Skeete Alston, Ph.D. candidates, will speak about their work on a public housing study in Atlanta.All graduate students in City and Regional Planning are invited to apply to the Urban Fellows Program.  The Urban Fellows Program is an initiative of the Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth at Georgia State University’s College of Law.  This interdisciplinary program brings together top graduate students from across GSU and GT’s School of City and Regional Planning to learn about urban, growth management and environmental issues through an exclusive lecture series.  Students are also provided with access to conferences and symposiums, volunteer opportunities throughout the metro area, and guidance in writing a research paper of publishable quality.If you are interested in participating in this program, complete the attached application and email it to Karen Johnston at kjohnston3@gsu.edu by 5 p.m. on August 1.
