Atlanta bike share in the works says Assistant Professor Watkins

External News Details

As bike share programs have popped up around the country, the City of Atlanta plans to build on the success of other cities with a program geared to the terrain of Atlanta. Georgia Tech Assistant Professor Kari Watkins explains that a system of 50 bike stations around the city will allow users to hop on one of 500 bicycles for a small fee and travel to their destination. “And when you’re ready to go back, you can grab a different one and go back to where it was you started from," says Watkins.
