Community Partner Award

Primary tabs

Georgia Tech Police Department (GTPD) understands the value of collaboration among all Georgia Tech community members. After all, safety, security, crime prevention and preparedness are the responsibility of everyone! In 2007 GTPD began awarding the Community Partner Award as part of the annual police awards ceremony. Beginning in 2009, we expanded this award by providing a quarterly community partner award. Each year one of the four quarterly award winners is selected for the annual Community Partner of the Year award. Nominees are people who not only support GTPD, but those who go above and beyond their normal job responsibilities. Support may be a sustained effort, or an exceptional “one time” event.
