Development of Transition Metal Catalyzed C-H Functionalization Reactions

School Colloquium

This seminar will discuss my group’s development of new transition metal catalyzed reactions for the selective functionalization of carbon–hydrogen bonds. The talk will specifically focus on detailed mechanistic investigations as a key driver for the development of new catalysts and new reactions in this area. In each case, mechanistic studies have provided critical insights for the development of novel catalysts with improved activity and/or selectivity for the key transformation.
