LMC's Professor of the Practice and noted Science Fiction author, Kathleen Ann Goonan, had a story published in the October issue of Discover Magazine. "A Love Supreme" reveals a bit about the future of America, where  "elites cheat death while middle class people confront a harsher reality."

Goonan is known as a writer who explores nanotechnology. Among her best-known books are Queen City Jazz, This Shared Dream, and In War Times, all of them available at your favorite bookstore.
