Primary tabs

The Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute (GTMI) welcomes Georgia Tech Director of Research Communications Mr. Kirk Englehardt on Monday, November 26, 2012, who will speak on "Connecting the Dots: Research Communication at Georgia Tech." The seminar begins at Noon in Room 114 of the Manufacturing Research Building.

You’ve probably heard about Georgia Tech’s new industry-focused research strategy, but you may not know what’s being planned to help everyone across campus better understand what it’s all about.

Georgia Tech Director of Research Communications, Kirk Englehardt, is responsible for developing and executing an integrated Georgia Tech-wide strategy to focus attention on our leadership in key areas of research, so that the world asks “What does Georgia Tech Think?”

During this brown bag presentation you will learn about progress that has already been made, how Interdisciplinary Research Institute's - IRIs - (like GTMI) play a key role in the communications process, and what is being planned to help spread understanding on campus and with the outside world.

This is also an excellent opportunity to share your ideas on how we can best communicate about the exciting research taking place at Georgia Tech.
