Charles Craig has been president of Georgia Bio since 2005. Georgia Bio is the private, non-profit association in Georgia representing the bioscience industry. He has been involved with the bioscience industry for 17 years. Before joining GaBio, he was author and editor of Ernst & Young’s Global Biotechnology Reports. Mr. Craig also was director of publications for the Washington, DC-based Biotechnology Industry Organization from 1998 to 2001; and he was an editor and writer for BioWorld Today and its related publications from 1994 to 1998.

Mr. Craig serves on the Board of Directors of SEBIO, the Editorial Advisory Board for Emory Health magazine and the Directors Council of the Yerkes National Primate Research Center.

Mr. Craig received a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Journalism degree from Louisiana State University. He is currently enrolled in Emory University’s Master of Arts program in Bioethics.
