Georgia Tech Cyber Security Summit 2012

Primary tabs

The 2012 Georgia Tech Cyber Security Summit marks the 10th anniversary of the Atlanta IT security community's foremost event on emerging cyber threats. Focused on strengthening connections between the academic, policy and industry sectors of the cyber security community, the Summit brings together top thought leaders to explore key cyber threats and ways of countering them. This event is not a product-focused meeting. Instead, approximately 300 attendees from the Atlanta area and around the country will gather to develop strategies for securing cyber networks and explore potential countermeasures for thwarting cyber threats.

The Summit also marks the issuance of the annual Georgia Tech Emerging Cyber Threats Report – an expert-driven outlook of the IT security issues and opportunities for the year ahead. The Summit is hosted by the Georgia Tech Information Security Center and the Georgia Tech Research Institute.

Keynote Address by Brendan Hannigan, general manager of IBM Security Systems

Panel Discussion on the Evolving Nature of Cyber Threats, moderated by Val Rahmani, CEO of Damballa
