Ross Mason is the founder of the Healthcare Institute for Neuro-Recovery and Innovation (HINRI). Ross is the Chairman of the GA Department of Community Health, which has an $11.2 BN annual budget, the Chairman of the Board of Visitors of GA Regents University in Augusta, the former Chairman of the Metro Atlanta United Ways Health Access Committee and the Chairman of the Board of Jacob's Ladder, a school for autistic children.  Ross is also creating an Advisory Board for Project Walk Atlanta, which is focused on creating the next generation of technologies, treatments and strategies for spinal cord injury rehab. He is also a Fellow at the GA Public Policy Foundation.

He is a healthcare entrepreneur, investor, and former strategic advisor to Volkswagen’s Healthcare Venture Accelerator Fund, which invested 280 million Euros in 90 companies, including 30 early stage healthcare companies. He was a former Associate in Private Banking at Morgan Stanley (New York, London, Zurich, Moscow and Atlanta) and created a real estate investment/development company in Moscow, Russia that he owned and operated for 12 years. He first became interested in healthcare after visiting an AIDS hospital in Zambia. Ross graduated from GA Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering and the Wharton School, with an MBA in Finance.
