Student Campus Safety Week

After several students were victims of crimes in areas near campus last year, a few students decided to figure out what they could do to buck the trend. They've established the first student-led Campus Safety Campaign, which will go on all week from Sept. 4-7.
Each day will have a theme for its activities, which will take place primarily on Tech Walk:
- Tuesday: Transportation Safety
- Wednesday: Theft
- Thursday: Alcohol Safety
- Friday: Personal Safety
Stop by Tech Walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to participate and give your opinions on how safety could be improved on campus. For details on the week’s events, visit the campaign’s website.
Summary
Students will devote this week to raising awareness of campus safety, with a different topic each day.
