Summary

Professor Philippe Van Parijs from the University of Louvain, Belgium has taught at Harvard's Philosophy Department. He is also a Visiting Professor at Oxford. He has authored several books, including his most recent publication, Linguistic Justice for Europe and for the World. He will discuss how Europe's linguistic diversity undermines its economic, social, and political prospects and what should be done about it.
