2012 New Graduate Teaching Assistant Orientation (GTAO)

The Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) invites all new Georgia Tech Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) to participate in New Graduate Teaching Assistant Orientation (GTAO). Returning Graduate TAs who have never attended the orientation, post-docs, staff, and faculty that work in undergraduate education are also invited to attend. An optional dinner will follow the orientation. Advanced registration is required to attend the orientation. When you register, please indicate if you plan to stay for dinner.

  

Registration opens at 12:30 p.m.

 

Dinner will be served from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. for participants.

Summary

GTAO is a one-day orientation to working as a teaching assistant at Georgia Tech. New and returning TAs will learn about policies and resources for TAs, practical classroom skills, and advice from experienced TAs.
