The (SES) Society of Engineering Science Technical Meeting is held annually to foster and promote the exchange of ideas and information among the various disciplines of engineering and the fields of physics, chemistry, mathematics, bioengineering and related scientific and engineering fields.

This SES Technical Meeting:

• aims to attract the leading researchers in all engineering and science disciplines, and mathematics
• is recognized as the leading forums for bringing together diverse, interdisciplinary groups of researchers to discuss advances in highly focused symposia

Georgia Tech is the host of the 2012 Society of Engineering Science (SES) 49th Annual Technical Meeting. Mechanics of solids and fluids has deep roots at Georgia Tech across the College of Engineering. A team of representatives from the Schools of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and the Department of Biomedical Engineering will be working together to bring you the 2012 Society of Engineering Science (SES) Technical Meeting.
