Christian Campus Fellowship (CCF) will host a Week of Compassion to spread awareness about local poverty and try to experience the circumstances that many people live in each day by giving up a certain item. CCF is also collecting personal items for the homeless all week including  hygiene items (dental care, feminine hygiene, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, wipes), underwear, socks and hand towels. 

Week of Compassion Events:

• Monday – Socks – Kickoff Day – No shoes only socks – Kickoff will take place at 9 a.m. at the Campanile
• Tuesday – Electricity – Blackout Day – Wear black shirts, no electricity/electronics (phones, laptops unless you have to) – 8 p.m. at CCF's Café Unplugged
• Wednesday – Water – Jug Day – Live on one gallon of water, carry around your jug all day
• Thursday – Shelter – Box Day – Sleep in boxes at North Ave. Quad – 10 p.m.
• Friday – Food – Hunger Day – No meals (or no lunch or give up something else like soft drinks/coffee) – Donate money to help pack 10,000 bags of food – Noon to 2 p.m.
