This workshop is for rising 4th-6th grade children. In this session you will learn about responding to events, variables, and loops. Scratch is free software from MIT that lets you create interactive art, animations, music, and games. LEGO WeDo kits contain a motor, a tilt sensor, and a distance sensor as well as LEGO blocks. You can make all sorts of cool things like a top spinner, a ball kicker that kicks whenever a ball gets close, or a plane that controls a Scratch plane.
