2013 U.S. News & World Report: ISyE Graduate Program Maintains Top Ranking Once Again

For the 22nd consecutive year, the graduate program in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) has been ranked the No. 1 program of its kind according to the 2013 edition of U.S. News & World Report.

Also maintaining its ranking, the College of Engineering ranked No.4 for the eighth consecutive year, and nine other College of Engineering programs again ranked in the top 10: biomedical (No. 2), civil (No. 3), aerospace (No. 4), environmental (No. 6), electrical (No. 5), computer (No. 6), mechanical (No. 6), nuclear (No. 8), materials (No. 7), and chemical (No. 10).

The U.S. News & World Report’s 2013 rankings of Best Graduate Schools was designed to assist prospective graduate students understand the graduate school landscape and to identify programs that would be a good fit. The rankings highlight the top programs in business, law, medicine, engineering, and education, among other specialties, using indicators such as program size, external reputation, student selectivity, faculty honors, and research activity.
