Communication Colloquium: Research into Teaching

The Writing and Communication Program invites you to the first Communication Colloquium of the semester, featuring the lecture "Author Notes, Betas, & ConCrit: The ABCs of Fan Texts" by Brittain Fellow Katherine Tanski (Purdue University).  

The lecture will be followed by discussion of the following topics: assigning student videos in the composition classroom, promoting originality in remixes, and leveraging fan culture to inspire critical thinking.
