In 2009-2010, Georgia Tech reached a record 41 percent of undergraduate students gaining international experience before they graduate. Georgia Tech Study Abroad Programs span every continent and every academic discipline. Whether it is an exchange program, faculty-led program, or study/work abroad program, the Office of International Education www.oie.gatech.edu offers Tech students a variety of ways to expand their horizons and develop intercultural competencies while earning their Georgia Tech degree. As an added bonus, students enrolled in a study abroad program can use their institutional financial aid for studying abroad, and most programs offer in-state tuition for all students (plus a $250 flat fee for non-resident students). In addition, there are some national scholarships available specifically for students who are studying abroad.

Application deadlines for summer 2011, fall 2011, and academic year (AY) 2011-2012 study abroad programs are coming up fast and differ slightly by program.
