Former SoB graduate student Jittima Piriyapongsa (PhD Bioinformatics 2008) was recently given a National Dissertation Award from the National Research Council of Thailand in recognition of her outstanding PhD thesis, conducted in the School of Biology under the supervision of King Jordan. This a very prestigious nation-wide award in Thailand. Congratulations Jing!
