Phi Lambda Upsilon Gives National Chemistry Award

Prof. L. Andrew Lyon has been awarded the Phi Lambda Upsilon, National Chemistry Honor Society's 2005 National Fresenius Award.

The 2005 National Fresenius Award of the Society is made annually to an outstanding scientists under 35 years of age at the time of nomination. Prof. Lyon's scientific achievements and record have placed him in the company of a group of very distinguished US chemists.

Prof. Lyon was given his award at the Spring National ACS Meeting as a "Jointly Presented Award" of Phi Lambda Upsilon and the American Chemical Society.
