Next NSF ADVANCE program session for the College of Architecture:
Thank you to everyone who participated in the brainstorming event! We discussed worrying trends, opportunities for improvement, and specific activities that could enhance academic success for women and the entire college. Many excellent ideas were presented.

At our next session, we will follow up on some of these ideas. Our preliminary agenda will include:
• NSF ADVANCE Program Women of Excellence Awards - nominations and award events
• Presentation of survey results
• Our strategy for pursuing other proposals made during the March 31 meeting such as symposia, other awards, etc.
• Developing a strategy for a strong mentoring and talent-retainment program in the College
• Creating and maintaining less formal opportunities for women in the College of Architecture to interact with each other
