ICMA, the premier local government leadership and management organization, just finished a case study on Decatur, GA that highlights the Community Transportation Plan conducted by CQGRD. According to Amanda Thompson, Decatur's city planning manager, "The community transportation plan is everything. It's an economic development plan. It provides that underlying infrastructure needed downtown to sustain it into the future. It's a plan for building community, for protecting the environment. And it's a plan for improving public health."
