Professors Teach the Chemistry of Life to High Schoolers

External News Details

Professors Nick Hud, from Georgia Tech, and David Lynn, from Emory, developed experiments that show high school kids how to create adenine, one of the chemicals that form DNA and RNA, and how to extract it from a strawberry. Students from Riverwood International Charter School and Roswell High School took part in the lessons, which aim to show them how the chemistry of life may be starting up right now in a solar system near you.
