College of Computing, Kaneva Kick off Monthly Student Video Competition

(June, 2007) - The College of Computing and Kanevaare awarding $100 each month starting in June for the best studentproject or research video submissions on Kaneva.com, the virtual3D-world networking site. The competition is open to all Georgia Techstudents and is planned to run for at least one year.

College of Computing Advisory Board Member Christopher Klaus is Kaneva's founder and Chief Executive Officer. Kanevais the first virtual entertainment world that unifies the 2D web with a3D experience, integrating social networking, shared media, andcollaborative online communities into a modern-day, immersive 3DVirtual World.
