As a part of Earth Month 2024, the Office of Sustainability will host three Climate FRESK Workshops throughout the month (April 11, 15, and 19).

About Climate FRESK

  • What is Climate FRESK? Climate FRESK is an interactive, collaborative card game that help participants understand the causes and effects of climate change. Worldwide, more than 1.5 people have participated in a Climate FRESK session in 157 countries.

 

  • How long does it take? About 3.5 hours. The session is broken up into an introduction, the game, and discussion/reflection.

 

  • How many people can participate? Anywhere from 6 – 20 people can participate with one facilitator. 

 

  • When did Climate FRESK begin at Georgia Tech? The first Climate FRESKs at Georgia Tech were a result of collaboration during France-Atlanta 2023 and spearheaded under leadership from President Cabrera. France-Atlanta is an annual event series co-organized by the Consulate General of France and The Georgia Institute of Technology.
