SDG Lunch Discussion: Challenges to Polio Eradication w/ Dr. Sharon Greene

Join us for a lunch time discussion as we hear from Dr. Sharon Greene, epidemiologist working on global polio eradication. The World Health Assembly had set a goal to eradicate Polio by 2023. Effort brought cases down by 99% but Covid-19 and other factors have prevented complete eradication. Dr. Greene will discuss the current barriers facing global health experts in the fight against Polio.

Lunch will be provided by NaanStop w/ vegan and gluten-free options. Spots are limited! Please RSVP here.

This event is in participation of SDG Action and Awareness Week (March 4-8) and focuses on SDG #3: Good health and well-being.
