The Intellectual Property Student Organization (IPSO) at Georgia Tech is having our semester kick-off meeting on Wednesday, September 27th, from 3:30-4:30 P.M. in the Cabbagetown Boardroom (Floor 2 & Room 272) at the Exhibition Hall.

No matter what career you’re interested in – whether it’s biomedical research, video game design, legal consulting, or short story writing – intellectual property is bound to play a vital role at some point. With IPSO, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from and network with members of the GT and Atlanta intellectual property communities, including professors, attorneys, business managers, technology developers, commercialization specialists, and many others.

We plan to organize informational events to raise awareness of and interest in IP, host seminars and workshops conducted by IP educators and business professionals, visit law firms and technology companies, hold socials with IP community members, and create volunteer events to establish and improve IP education in local communities!
