Primary tabs

Cassidy Sugimoto, Tom and Marie Patton Chair of the School of Public Policy, co-authored a paper recently published in eLife. The article is titled “Meta-Research: Investigating disagreement in the scientific literature.”

In it, Sugimoto and her co-authors establish a classification system for measuring disagreement in scientific literature. After that, they determine that disagreement levels are highest in the social sciences and humanities fields of said literature, and lowest in mathematics and computer science.
