Call for Proposals for 2011 Robert M. Nerem International Travel Award

Primary tabs

We are pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2011 Robert M. Nerem International Travel Award for Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Students.  Students must be working with a faculty member of the Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience.

This award was established by the colleagues and friends of Dr. Bob Nerem and it is awarded annually.  Its purpose is to encourage predoctoral and postdoctoral students to travel outside of the US as part of their research training, with a preference being for a student to learn new laboratory techniques at a foreign university outside of North America or to be part of an international collaboration.  This year's award will support travel and living expenses of up to $3000.  Application packets must be submitted electronically to Nerem Travel Award by Thursday, April 28, 2011.  Please also visit this website for complete details.

If you have additional questions please contact James Godard.
