Primary tabs

The Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business invites you to the second panel in the series of Drawdown Georgia Business Compact launch events!

The Drawdown Georgia Business Compact leverages the collective impact of the business community to achieve net zero carbon emissions in the state through a just and sustainable transition. It is an inclusive initiative that seeks diverse participation while building on the leadership of businesses in Georgia with net zero carbon emission targets or similar ambitions.

The Compact is designed to accelerate deployment of solutions at the scale needed to reach net zero emissions while finding ways to elevate equity, increase economic opportunity, safeguard public health, and restore the natural environment.

This panel focuses on equitable and inclusive innovation as a key element to achieving the just and sustainable transition envisioned by this Compact.

Discussion questions will include:

  • How can equitable and inclusive innovation help our state achieve the just and sustainable transition envisioned by the Compact?

  • What are the opportunities for integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion in initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate climate change risks?

  • How can the business of agriculture contribute to increased resilience and economic opportunity across the state and region?

We invite you to join the conversation with leading industry experts!
