Service, Education, and Impact: Georgia Tech's Global Reach

Primary tabs

Solving global challenges requires more than just good ideas. For the seeds of knowledge to grow into tomorrow's solutions, they must inspire action and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Working at home and abroad, Georgia Tech students and faculty are applying their knowledge to a wide range of projects that are addressing our global energy needs and other societal challenges.  Whether exploring seismic signaling and new ways of processing energy information or developing efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sound methods for large-scale power generation, Georgia Tech research and education is helping to shape a new energy future with partner countries around the world.

Georgia Tech's Office of International Education leads a broad spectrum of international partnerships and programs, and works closely with faculty and administration to develop new initiatives that build upon Georgia Tech's strengths in science and technology and expand the organization's research mission.

Through a collaborative network and international curricula that includes such programs such as Georgia Tech's Lorraine campus, Shenzhen campus, and The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs students develop the leadership skills and understanding to meaningfully contribute in a rapidly changing global economy.

More than 2,000 Georgia Tech students can be found each year in classrooms, laboratories, and research centers in more than 90 programs around the globe.
